Using the Web Application
No Software to Install
The Teaching File Manager is a pure browser-based
application, requiring no software other than a standard web browser.
The application works best with the latest version of Internet Explorer
or Netscape. If you have an older browser running, upgrade your installation
to the latest major release.
Easy to Use
If you know how to surf the web, then you already
know how to use this sytem. Simply click on the Cases tab at the top of
any page to see a list of anatomy categories. Click on a category to see
a list of pathology subcategories. In this way, you can drill down to a
list of cases. You can also perform a search to retrieve cases by keyword
or other parameter.
Runs on Any Platform
The application runs equally well on a PC or a Macintosh.
Anonymous Use
You don't need to be logged in to browse or search for a sample of public cases. However,
if you want to access protected cases, search the entire public database, or create your own cases and folders, you need to sign up for
an account.
