The Teaching File Manager is a pure browser-based application, requiring no software other than a standard web browser. The application works best with the latest version of Internet Explorer or Netscape. If you have an older browser running, upgrade your installation to the latest major release.

If you know how to surf the web, then you already know how to use this sytem. Simply click on the Cases tab at the top of any page to see a list of anatomy categories. Click on a category to see a list of pathology subcategories. In this way, you can drill down to a list of cases. You can also perform a search to retrieve cases by keyword or other parameter.

The application runs equally well on a PC or a Macintosh.

You don't need to be logged in to browse or search for a sample of public cases. However, if you want to access protected cases, search the entire public database, or create your own cases and folders, you need to sign up for an account.

Users are fully responsible for the content of each case that they post. Text and images may be copyrighted by the case author or institution.
