| Upload images from your hard-drive: Once a new case has been created you will have the option to add images. You can always add images at a later date (see Editing a Case). MyPACS allows you to select any formatted image from your hard drive or a networked system and upload it into your teaching file. MyPACS converts images into JPEG format with three standard image sizes for a uniform look, but an image can always be retrieved in its original format (See “How do I retrieve an image in its original format?) You can also add a caption to each image you upload. | |||||
After creating a case using the case editor click the ‘add images
to this case’ link at the bottom of the page, which takes you to
the image upload form: Click 'Browse' to bring up a pop-up window which will help navigate the directories on your local file system. Use the drop-down menu to locate the image file you would like to upload. Once you have found the file, double click on it: Once the file has been selected the file path will display in the source field. You can add a caption in the field to the right of the file path. For each image you wish to upload you will need to browse your hard drive for the file name. Once you have finished selecting images click 'upload’ (Depending on the number and size of the images it will take sometime to upload all the information, so please wait patiently). The image(s) will now be displayed as part of the case. The order of images presented can be easily changed (see Editing a Case).
