| Exporting a Case | |||||
| If you're not on the web you can view your cases by exporting them to your local hard drive or network: MyPACS has an export case feature which allows you to save cases on your local or network hard drive. You will have the option to save the case as an HTML document or as an TFML (Teaching File Modeling Language) document. If the case is saved as an HTML document then your web browser will allow you to view the case, although it will not retain the same look as those viewed on the web but all the information will be displayed. If a case is saved as a TFML document then you will need an XML based application to view the case. | |||||
After logging in open the case you wish to export and click the 'Export' link:
Choose either to save the case as an HTML document or a TFML document by clicking the appropriate link:
If you choose to export the case as a HTML document then MyPACS will prepare the case as a zip file to be downloaded to your hard drive; click the 'Download zip file of cases' link:
A File Download pop-up will ask if you would like to open the zip file or save it. Click the 'Save' button:
A Save As pop-up will ask you to select a location for the zip file to be saved. Select a location and a file name and click the 'Save' button:
To view a zip file you will need to have software that “unzips” the file (breaks the file into its parts). If you do not have the software go to http://www.winzip.com for information. Once you have the software, go to the zip file you saved on your hard drive and open it with WinZip. You will be able to view case once it has been unzipped by opening the file named: index.html (use your web browser to open this file). |
