previously visited 081028 DUODENAL STENOSIS WITH BEZOAR Random Case

Patient: 1 year 9 month old male
History:

Progressive bilious vomiting for days (up to 5 times per day).
Cough and fever days ago (+).

Caesarean section with gestational age 39 weeks.
Birthbody weight: 3000gm. G1P1

Growth and development: 8kg (< 3%)

Findings:

Upper gastrointestinal series (figure 1):
An ovoid filling defect with lobulated contour in deudenal 2rd portion,
 may due to bezoar.

Exploratory laparotomy (figure 2):
open duodenum to remove bezoar and excision of incomplete duodenal septa.

Diagnosis: Duodenal stenosis with bezoar
