never visited PREVERTEBRAL AND RIGHT PARAVERTEBRAL MASS DUE TO B CELL NHL ON 62 Y/O CT CHEST

History: Back pain and breathlessness

Findings:

1. Large right pleural effusion

2. Colapse of right lower lobe

3. Prevertebral and right paravertebral enhancing mass
- lifts aorta from lower thoracic spine
- does not invade spine
- looks like retrocrural lymphadenopathy at lower end of mass (Fig 8)

Diagnosis: 1. B cell follicular non Hodgkins lymphoma
Discussion: Diagnosis achieved by CT guided biopsy of mass
