Patient: 65 year old female
History:
Paciente con historia de cefalea y parestesias en brazo izquierdo. Tiene CT normal y sospechan infartos lacunares.


Patient with history of migraine, parestesias in left arm. It has normal CT and they suspect to infarcts lacunares.

Findings:
El estudio de Craneo, muestra algunos infartos lacunares antiguos.
Se aprecia imagen redondeada, de contornos bien definidos, Hipointensa en T1 e Hiperintensa en T2 y FLAIR, localizada por debajo de la silla turca, que ensancha el seno esfenoidal.


The study of Skull, shows to some old infarcts lacunares.
Cleared image, of contours affluent defined, Hipointensa in T1 and Hiperintensa in T2 and FLAIR, located below the Turkish chair is appraised, that widens the sphenoidal sinus.
Diagnosis:

Sphenoid sinus mucocele.
Discussion:
El meningocele, muestra defecto oseo y conexión con el contenido craneal.

El quiste de la bolsa de Ratke, se origina en la región posterior de la silla turca, con señal de intensidad variable, según su contenido.

El quiste de Tornwaldt o Nasofaringeo, se origina de restos notocordales. Se ubica en la parte superior de la Nasofaringe y es hiperintenso en T1, por alto contenido proteico. Presente en 3% de resonancias de Craneo, generalmente en pacientes asintomáticos. Puede ocasionar cefalea y halitosis.

Quiste nasofaringeo. Tiene la misma localización del quiste de Tornwaltd, pero hipointenso en T1.


Meningocele, shows to bony defect and connection with the craneal content.

The cyst of stock-market of Ratke, is originated in the later region of the Turkish chair, with signal of variable intensity, according to its content.

The cyst of Tornwaldt or Nasofaringeo, is originated of notocordales rest. It is located in the superior part of the Nasofaringe and is hyperintense in T1, by high protein content. Present in 3% of resonances of Skull, generally in asintomáticos patients. It can cause migraine and halitosis.

Nasofaringeo cyst. It has the same location of the cyst of Tornwaltd, but hypointense in
T1.
