Patient: 30 year old male
History: Fall. Unsure of mechanism of injury. Severe immediate pain and swelling.

Findings: XR Knee: Irregularity of one of the anterior condyles on lateral view. Rectangular ossicle above fibular head on AP view ?old trauma. MRI Knee: Joint effusion. Marked bone marrow oedema throughout the anterior aspect lateral femoral condyle. Impaction fracture of anterior lateral femoral condyle of some 3cm diameter and 3 to 4mm depressed.
Diagnosis: Impaction fracture of anterior aspect lateral femoral condyle
