never visited AMBIGUOUS GENITALIA

Patient: 16 year old
History:

16 year old person, born in mexico, raised as female. As a child had "clitoral reduction". No vaginoplasty. During puberty developed facial hair, and no breast bud formation. Patient has never menstrated.
On physical exam she does not have a vaginia.

Findings: Bilateral cryptorchism. No uterus or ovaries. Tubular stripe of soft tissue posterior to the bladder.
Diagnosis: Probable androgen insentivity with bilateral cryptorchidism and Mullerian duct remnant posterior to the bladder.
Discussion: Patient likely was misdiagnosed at birth with an enlarged clitorus. Likely had hypospadias and bylateral cryptorchidism.
