Patient: 27 year old female
History: 27 yo female with cough of 3 months duration and persistent density in left lower lobe on CXR (not shown)

Findings:

CT demonstrates dilated bronchi filled with mucous plugs in the left lower lobe. There is a soft tissue mass with an endobronchial component in the left mainstem bronchus, causing obstruction.

Diagnosis: Biopsy proven carcinoid
Discussion: The mnemonic for an endobronchial tumor is MACE - Mucoepidermoid carcinoma, Adenoid cystic carcinoma(aka cykindroma), Carcinoid, and Endobronchial granuloma (TB, fungus)
